With the funds raised:
The Pink Rose Calendar Fund organised by Jenny at Megs Hair Design, Cleethorpes is raising funds for two worthwhile causes.
Following the success of the Pink Rose Appeal 2007, the Calendar aims to raise further funds for the women's only ward. This will allow women to recover from breast cancer surgery in private surroundings, enabling a speedier and more relaxed recovery.
The Calendar also supports the Candlelighters Trust Teenage & Children Cancer unit based at Leeds. We aim to improve the facilities available at St James for patients and their families. We will be contributing to vital research and care for childhood and teenage cancer and leukaemia. One of the models in the calendar is a patient of St James hospital teenage cancer unit and 1/6 of the money raised will be donated to this deserving cause.
Everyone involved in the making of this calendar is giving their time freely. We will have, once completed, a massive high profile marketing campaign. We need your help and support to help us make this calendar happen. The Pink Rose Appeal set the community alight! Help us with the finale!
